Strange testimony of neighbors, bloodies gloves, suicide and escape attempts: this story becomes more and more confusing with each episode. At the end the viewer will have to choose the right side by himself.

The second season will be dedicated to Hurricane Katrina, the third – to the the murder of the famous designer Gianni Versace and the fourth – to the political scandal with President Clinton and his mistress Monica Lewinsky.

The plot unfolds in Columbia in 1970s and shows Pablo at the very beginning of his “career”. Authors promote the rise of Pablo Escobar from the first sold kilogram of drugs to the status of drug lord with passion and dizzying speed.

This series also show confrontation between the police officers and criminal syndicate led by Pablo Escobar, since by the time the American cops finally come to their senses, the white powder has already been selling all over the country.

One of the most expensive TV series in history portrays the life of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. The main role will be transferred from one actress to another.

As it is known from history, Elizabeth ascended the throne after the tragic death of her father, King George VI. “The Crown” describes unknown story of the relationship between the Queen and her prime ministers. The winners were selected from 500 nominated films (50 in each genre). The jury consisted of 1500 representatives from the field of art: directors, screenwriters, actors, operators, critics and historians.

The largest amount of films included in the list has Alfred Hitchcock (four movies in total). The second place goes to Steven Spielberg and Stanley Kubrick, who have three movies each. All 100 movies were unveiled on a special television broadcast on CBS. The announcement of the list was entrusted to famous figures of the cinema world, such as Quentin Tarantino, Clint Eastwood, Cuba M. Gooding, Jr, Jessica Alba and others.

The Brooks are rich and influential, while the Fosters are poor and seem outsiders. The series describe a competition between these families. And even though a lot of characters were written out with time, there is a storyline that remained throughout the entire soap opera: the story of the rivalry between Katherine Chancellor and Jill Foster.

Another long-running soap opera “All My Children” broadcasted in 1970 for the first time. 10712 episodes aired 5 times a week from 1970 to 2011. According to the creator’s idea “All My Children” was supposed to raise actual problems of modern society, such as Vietnam War. The main character Erica Kane was considered one of the most popular TV characters in history of daytime television. By the way, in one of the episodes in 1973 Erica decides to have an abortion, which was the first time when abortion was shown on television. In addition, “All My Children” was one of the first TV shows to raise an issue of plastic surgery and its physiological effect.

The script writer Irna Phillips is actually among the founders of the genre “soap opera”.

In the first season, events unfold around two detectives, who were investigating a strange murder in Louisiana that happened in 1995. In order to advance in the investigation, the police decide to interrogate the former detectives who worked on the case in 1995.

The second season takes us to Californian city Vinci. The head of the city administration disappears right before the presentation of a new railway line, which supposed to improve financial position of the city. Later, his body is found on the highway by a traffic police officer. What began as a murder, turned into a network of conspiracies and machinations.

The main character is a talented anthropologist and brilliant expert, Dr. Temperance Brennan.
